The PADI Divemaster course is your gateway to professional scuba diving. Guided by an experienced PADI Instructor, you’ll master advanced diving techniques, perfect your rescue skills, and gain the confidence to handle common challenges with ease. You’ll also develop leadership abilities, dive management expertise, and the know-how to become a role model in the diving community.
What Can a PADI Divemaster Do?

Requirements
To enroll, you must meet the following criteria:
– Be at least 18 years old.
– Have 40 logged dives to begin and 60 dives by completion.
– Hold PADI Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver certifications (or equivalents).
– Have Emergency First Response certification within the last two years.
– Pass a medical evaluation for diving within the past 12 months.
**Note:** We recommend completing an HSE Dive Medical. This is essential for working in the UK and ensures eligibility as a support diver for advanced courses, such as Wreck Specialties.

Flexible Scheduling and Course Duration
We recommend completing your Divemaster course over the summer dive season. This allows ample time to gain hands-on experience with instructors, assist in various courses, and make the most of training weekends.

Equipment Requirements
You’ll need a complete set of standard SCUBA equipment, including:
– Mask, fins, snorkel, BCD (jacket style preferred), and regulator set with gauges.
– Two air cylinders (recommended).
– Appropriate exposure protection, such as a drysuit.
– Dive computer.
– Compass.
– Knife or cutting device.
– Two surface signaling devices (whistle and DSMB).
– Slate with pencil.
– Torch for visibility.
